Couples Journey
The same guided process, for two people who share a life.
What a couples journey involves
A couples journey follows the same structure as an individual one: preparation, a guided journey day, and integration afterwards, with the two of you going through it together. It is for partners who want to meet something in their relationship, or in themselves, with the other person present.
We don’t assume two people arrive with the same intentions or the same readiness. Part of the preparation is finding out where each of you stands, and shaping the day so that both of you are held, together and each in your own process.
What changes with a partner present
In an individual journey, the work is between you and your own experience. With a partner beside you, the relationship itself becomes part of what is explored. Preparation happens both together and one-on-one, so that each of you has somewhere private to speak. Integration does the same, so that what emerged is carried back into your life together.
How it works for two
The same three phases as an individual journey, with both shared and one-on-one time in the preparation and the integration.
- 01
Preparation
A discovery call with both of you, then preparation sessions in which we come to understand each person’s history, intentions, and readiness, and the relationship between you.
- 02
Journey
The journey day is held for the two of you, with the whole day set aside. Each of you is free to turn inward or toward the other, and whatever arises between you is met with gentleness and respect.
- 03
Integration
We ground what emerged, for each of you and for the relationship, and explore how it wants to move into your daily life together.
A call with both of you
We’d like to hear what each of you is hoping for before anything is decided.
