The Rewild Retreat

A 5-day canoe journey for men seeking contemplation, personal growth, healing, and authentic connection to fellow men and nature.

CANOEING + MEDITATION + BREATHWORK + MICRODOSING + WILDERNESS + COUNCIL

July 15th to 19th, 2026
Algonquin Park, Canada

The wilderness is calling.

In the heart of the wilderness, there is a quietness.

In this quietness, your nervous system feels a sense of safety that is rare in today’s over-stimulated world.

No screens, no work, no ads, no noise—isolated from the “man-made” world.

Here, you can relax fully. You can let go. You can listen and hear yourself clearly.

Here, you can heal and know yourself as whole.

  • I felt connected, seen, and safe in a way my soul has been yearning for a very, very long time. I am so grateful.

  • As a busy COO one of America’s fastest growing companies, it’s been so long since I’ve had the opportunity to unplug and take the special time needed to reconnect with myself, find healing and practice mindfulness. The reconnect retreat was the perfect place to do that, meet like-minded people, and get excellent guidance in psilocybin therapy. The retreat was an incredible safe space and beautiful community of people seeking healing and growth.

  • The retreat was incredible. I came hoping to find certain answers. Instead, I was delivered something better. I did not get what I wanted out of it, I got what my body and soul needed.

  • From the moment everyone was together, Louis and Jack created a warm, open, and accepting environment for everyone. There was an immediate sense of safety that allowed me to bring down my walls and truly explore myself and express it. Details were meticulous. Every morning there were sessions to settle into yourself for the experiences of the day. I would encourage anyone looking to deepen their self-awareness and care to do so with skilled guides not think twice about attending a Woven retreat. The only bad thing I have to say is that I wanted more time with the incredible men who attended the retreat.

  • Having the guidance of Jack and Louis during the meditations and conscious connected breathwork sessions was powerful in a way I could have never imagined. My experience with Woven changed my entire perspective on words, gratitude, and surrender.

Here’s what it means to rewild yourself…

A lot of men have been conditioned by modern life in a way that exhausts us and disconnects us from ourselves.

As Charlie Chaplin famously said in The Great Dictator, “we think too much and feel too little.”

Many of us are over-identified with our work, always seeing life through the lens of logic, performance, and being “on”, connected, and bound by the built world (society).

Rewilding is about rediscovering your innate self – who you are without work, undistracted, and free – when you’re allowed to slow down, reflect, and spend time in nature, experiencing ruggedness, stillness, and an ancient ways of being.

5 DAYS TO…

REST YOUR MIND

HEAL YOUR WOUNDS

GET GROUNDED IN NATURE

MAKE LASTING CONNECTIONS

GET RUGGED AND WILD IN NATURE

RECONNECT TO YOURSELF

  • On our first day together, we’ll meet at our base camp at Driftwood Paddle for 4pm.

We’ll host you for a welcome dinner, followed by an opening campfire and a sauna before bed.

If you’re flying in to YYZ (Pearson), please book a flight that lands by 11:30am so that you can arrive at Algonquin before dinner at 6.

  • Launch day. Early wake-up + optional lake dip before we start.

We’ll help you pack everything into waterproof bags, show you the ropes of paddling, and set off for our first campsite.

We’ll aim to be on the water by 9am, as day 1 will be long and physically challenging – this will break us in and set us up for a great first sleep in tents.

Upon arrival, we’ll set up our first camp, cook over a fire, and have council under the stars.

  • A slower, more contemplative and emotionally focused day.

We’ll arrive at our campsite a little earlier and do a breathwork ceremony together. This will help you drop into your emotional body and feel more fully. A lot of guys cry – and that’s healthy.

Afterwards, we’ll have some time for solo processing and reflection. Then we’ll enjoy dinner together and another council under the stars.

  • After 4 days, you’re fully dropped in. You’ve had enough time to disconnect from modern life, your internet brain is offline, and you’re fully present.

Today, we offer the option to take advantage of this unique state of being and enhance your awareness with microdosing psilocybin. This is a small dose, nothing that will make you hallucinate or have a peak experience, just a gentle, light upgrade to your awareness.

On our final night together, we’ll go out on the water in canoes and have a ceremony under the stars. A night you won’t forget.

  • Our final day, and the most rewarding. We’ll wake up early and hit the water for our final journey back to base camp.

When we return, we’ll sauna together to close in ceremony.

We’ll feed you lunch then say our goodbyes.

You’ll be on the road by 1pm, and can expect to arrive at the airport by 5.

Who this is for

  • You’re committed to becoming your best self

  • You recognize the importance of slowing down and looking inwards

  • You value deep connections with other like-minded men

  • You’re ready to heal parts of yourself that are wounded or hurting

  • You’re up for a physical + mental challenge that feeds your soul

Who this is not for

  • People who don’t want to take a break from tech

  • People who don’t believe in rest or frequent self-care

  • Lone wolves who don’t play well with others

  • Anyone who’s afraid of getting dirty in the woods

  • People who don’t like one-of-a-kind experiences in nature

Leave the screen behind. Disconnect to reconnect.

While we don’t confiscate smartphones during the retreat, we encourage you to turn your phone off or leave it behind for the duration of the retreat.

There is no cell service in Algonquin anyway.

At the Rewild Retreat, we invite you to disconnect from surface-level, scatter-brain, task-oriented consciousness so you can reconnect to the innate and ancient wisdom that lives beneath the surface, tuning into consciousness in harmony with your whole self, the group, and nature.

We often forget that we are nature. Nature is not something separate from us. So when we say that we have lost our connection to nature, we’ve lost our connection to ourselves.

— Andy Goldsworthy

Men’s Council:
The Heart of the Journey

Every man needs a space where he can share openly, without judgement.

Within each of us is a story that’s waiting to be told – and heard.

This is what council is about.

Each day, we’ll spend time sitting (or paddling) together in council, sharing about our experiences, our hurt, and who we really are.

At times, it’ll be emotional.

Men cry, let out anger, and share what’s really on their heart. For most of us, it’s rare to have a space like this, especially for 5 days at a time.

One of our ways to host council is on the water, in canoes. The man who’s sharing is in the middle canoe while all other canoes surround that canoe. This creates the feeling that you’re held by the crew. Paddling as you share helps you “move through” what you’re feeling.

This will be healing, empowering, and transformative – and for many men, it’s what makes our retreats so memorable.

This is a space to finally let go of what you’ve been holding onto.

Man does not weave this web of life. He is merely a strand of it. Whatever he does to the web, he does to himself.

— Chief Seattle

In 2020, he graduated from McGill University with majors in Psychology, Philosophy, and Comparative Religion. He understands psychedelic experience as a fundamental human right with important implications for individual, community, and planetary health. This view drives his commitment to democratizing informed access to psychedelics through research, education, and community support. As the founder of Psygaia, Louis is now working on the Psygaia Hypothesis while completing his MA at the University of Ottawa.

As a certified yoga and breathwork teacher, Louis shares his expertise in rehab centers and studios, empowering others on their journey toward wholeness. In his free time, he loves backcountry skiing, trail running, writing, gardening, meditating, weightlifting, and anything else that connects him to Nature and ignites his spirit.

Deep down, we hunger to meet our soul. All during the course of our lives we struggle to catch up with ourselves. We are so taken up, so busy and distracted, that we cannot dedicate enough time or recognition to the depths within us.

Algonquin Provincial Park,
Ontario, Canada

Algonquin Provincial Park, spanning over 7,600 square kilometres of the Canadian Shield, is a stunning wilderness of rolling hills, dense forests, and more than 2,400 lakes and 1,200 kilometres of rivers. This vast natural sanctuary supports an extraordinary diversity of wildlife, including over 270 bird species. Guests leave the park feeling like a truer version of themselves, remembering a sense of peace they'd long forgotten.

You don’t need to burn yourself out.

You need to give yourself
a break.

What our community is saying about us…

There is a wealth of information built into us, tucked away in the  genetic material in every one of our cells. Without some means of access, there is no way even to begin to guess at the extent and quality of what is there. The psychedelics allow exploration of this interior world and insights into its nature.

Nature loves courage. You make the commitment and nature will respond to that commitment by removing impossible obstacles. Dream the impossible dream and the world will not grind you under, it will lift you up. This is the trick. This is what all these teachers and philosophers who really counted, who really touched the alchemical gold, this is what they understood. This is the shamanic dance in the waterfall. This is how magic is done. By hurling yourself into the abyss and discovering it's a feather bed.
